Plasma Balls

Museums the world over have featured large plasma balls to explain the principles of electricity, meanwhile amazing visitors with their glowing spectacles of multi-colored lightning. These beautiful, ever-changing plasma balls can reach 36 inches in diameter and cost upwards of $25,000!

We realized that nothing like this was available for people to have in their homes, so we decided to have our factory design a large diameter plasma ball which approaches the size and visual impact of a museum ball. This plasma ball is nearly twice the diameter of the largest plasma balls on market!

The plasma ball is filled with rare gases, which react with electricity to form streams of colored plasma. The central electrode produces boiling red plasma which emanates outward in tendrils of red, pink and violet. By using the power control, you can change the effect from a subtle light dance to a full blown galactic sun-storm! Needless to say, the effects these globes produce are so bright that they are easily seen in daylight, and are spectacular in a slightly darkened room.

The 15" diameter glass ball sits atop a 7" faux burl-wood moulded base, creating an expensive looking item that will be the centerpiece of any room.
The ball is powered by an included 12 volt quality switching power supply. These power supplies are fully regulated, accepting input from 100-240 volts, and outputting constant stable 12 volts, to ensure that the plasma ball’s effects last for thousands of hours.
